Volunteer Park

This past Tuesday morning Vinnie and I drove into Capitol Hill for his appointment at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. The museum resides in the absolutely lovely Volunteer Park, which I had heard about and foolishly not yet visited. I believe it is a popular place, but it was a quiet weekday morning. Besides the beautiful Art Moderne museum, there is a conservatory down the tree lined street, a reservoir, dahlia garden, small koi ponds, and large green spaces. I think it might be exactly what I was hoping for in Seattle.

Pretty! I love all the flowers. And hooray for you getting to spend time with Vinnie - I'm sure that was a much-needed treat. ;)
