Thursday, June 25, 2009One for the history books...Michael Jackson died this week. He suffered a heart attack in his home and could not be revived. Too many gifts for one man to handle, too much vulnerability and sensitivity to live in the limelight. It's hard to say what the world of music and dance would be like without him. How wonderful that one short life can change so many, can shape our culture, can make us better.

I can't hear a Michael Jackson song without thinking of you and your brother when you were little dancing to his music, trying to imitate his moves. That dance recital dedicated to MJ music might be of historical significance now.
