I like the old tradition of hanging a horseshoe above your door for good luck. I have been keeping my eye out for old horseshoes in antique shops, as I guess you have to hang a used shoe. There are regional superstitions as to how the shoe should be hung. Some say to point the ends upward to hold the good luck in, while some hang it ends down to pour luck over you as you pass through the door. Our home could use some friendly talismans.
Do you keep any good luck charms?

I love the horse shoe signs.
We have a Mayan idol that is a sign of good luck that we keep in our living room. But this concept might be something I have to look into. :)
