Welcome October

the trees outside our apartment prepping for winter

I can't believe it is October already. September absolutely slipped by sight unseen. But I will say it again: I adore October. I am so excited that it is autumn! The leaves are turning gold, and it's getting chilly. This month there will be lots of soups, sweaters and scarves, and pumpkins of course (oh I wish I had a porch so I could set them outside). Nathan is excited too; because it is his birth month (Oct 28th) he thinks we will celebrate everyday!

Let us not forget September though--I have lots of catch-up to do! Mom visited this past week and we had ourselves a busy little time. I have a few photos from our outings that I will post in a somewhat backwards order. How was your September?

Three cheers for autumn! I love all seasons really, but there's something about fall that really makes me happy... the crisp, cool air with just the right amount of shining sun; gorgeous trees; crunching leaves on the ground; and of course the comfy, cozy clothes!!!

Nathan could probably use a month-long birthday celebration... he sure deserves it anyway.

I have back-logged posting to do as well, but I have lost my camera!!!! I'm freaking out and praying that it turns up, but I'm starting to think it won't.. :( boo

I'm looking forward to hearing about the fun time you had with your mom last week. September sure flew by for us as well - hopefully we can all enjoy this beautiful month as we ease into the busy holiday season.

Take care!
